Pauline L. Altman
February 23, 1919 - December 29, 2009
Pauline L. Altman 90, of Crawfordsville formerly of Ladoga passed away at Williamsburg Health Care Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:42 P.M. She was born on February 23, 1919 at Cincinnati, Ohio to Raymond and Grace Woodmancy Lanham.
She was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church. She taught Sunday School for 50 Years and was a Youth Sponsor for many years and a Volunteer Church Camp Nurse. She graduated from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati as an R.N. in 1939. She worked as an R.N. for the Red Cross several years ago.
She married Frank E. Altman on Nov. 19, 1941 at Cincinnati, Ohio. He died on August 14, 1995
She is survived by one daughter Carol A. (William) Carrington of Crawfordsville, a Daughter-In-Law Sue Altman of Sioux City, Iowa, Five Grandchildren Amanda & Amy Carrington of Crawfordsville, Michael Altman of Lincoln NE., Ronald Altman of Philadelphia, PA., Carol Altman Cox of Ames , Iowa, 10 Great Grandchildren and one Nephew. Preceding her in death was her Husband Frank E. Altman, Son David J. Altman, and Brother Hugh Lanham.
Funeral Services will be Saturday January 2, 2010 at Ladoga Christian Church at 124 W. Elm St., Ladoga, IN. Visitation will be at the Church from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Rev. Rob Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Ladoga Cemetery.
