Theodore J. Nispel, 90, of Greencastle and formerly of Waveland died Monday, January 4, 2009 at Hendricks Regional Health Center at Danville, IN.
He was born August 3, 1919 to William M. and Rose Bogner Nispel in York, Pa.
He married Opal Frazier November 18, 1945 at Rockville, IN. and she died December 22, 2004.
He was a member of Parkville Christian Church.
He retired from R R Donnelley and Sons at Crewfordsville. He served in WW II in US Army Air Corps in the Asiantic Pacific Theater and received a Bronze Star.
He was survivied by a son Randy (Debbie) Nispel of Greencastle, daughters Sandra Thomas of Indianapolis, Teressa (Harry) DeHaven of Greencastle, sister Rose Miller of San Antonio, TX 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded by the parents, 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
Services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 Friday at the Funeral Home. Rev Jack Hopkins will officiate and military graveside rites by the American Legion and VFW at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery near New Market, IN
