Robert Morris Gillogly 86, of Roachdale died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Williamsburg Health Care at 2:30 AM.
He was born to Orville & Vada Smith Gillogly February 21, 1923 at Murdock, IL. He married Betty Lyons December 23, 1950 at Ladoga, and she survives.
He was a member of BrownsValley Christian Church and served a deacon and past trustee. He was retired from R R Donnelly in 1985 as a machinist. He was a graduate of Greene Township High School in 1941. He was famous for baking pies and was a wood worker.
He was survived by 2 sons Alan (Cindy) Gillogly of Green Town, Bradley (Jan) Gillogly of Waynetown, and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 4 sisters Vera Sewell, Helen Branch, Ruby Jines, and Edith Martin, 3 brothers Wayne, Leonard, and Milton Gillogly.
Services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at Waveland. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home with Rev. David Bock officiating and burial in Hebron Cemetery at Russellville.
