Walter H. Barker, 92, of Roachdale passed away at Hendricks Regional Health on Thursday morning, January 27, 2010 at 4:55 A.M. He was born on September 22, 1917 at Roachdale to William V. and Eva M. Hylton Barker.
He worked as a Machine Repairman for 29 years at California Pellet Mill at Crawfordsville, where he retired, and 12 years at Linde Air at Indianapolis.
He married Edna L. Jones, daughter of James & Cellia Jones, on Nov. 18, 1940 at Greencastle and she survives. Also surviving is one son Jim Barker of Roachdale, Darla Binford a niece who they raised, five Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be Saturday January 30, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at New Maysville Cemetery. Pastor Randy Glenn will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale.
