Roberta Mae Batman, 81, of Roachdale died at Hickory Creek at Crawfordsville on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 5:45 A.M. She was born on December 27, 1928 to Bernard Ross and Thelma Elizabeth Chiles Stadler.
She was a member of the Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene, Young at Heart Club at the Church, Ladoga Senior Citizens Club. She had served as Organist at the former Ladoga Nazarene Church and also played the organ for many years at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home.
She married Thomas W. Batman on June 10, 1950 at Indianapolis. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1996.
Survivors include a Daughter-In-Law Bonnie Batman of New Ross, Grandson Brad Batman of New Ross and a great Grandson Jonathon Caine Batman of New Ross. Preceding her in death was her Parents, a son Edwin LeRoy Batman, Brother Ross Eldon Stadler, and Step-Mother Ruth Stadler.
Services will be Wednesday February 24, 2010 at The Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene at the corner of Hwys 234 & 231 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Rev. Mark Roberts will officiate.
Burial will be at Ladoga Cemetery. Servies & Morgan assisted with the arrangements.
