Lawrence E. (Jack) White 89 of Crawfordsville formerly of Russellville died Wednesday at St. Clare Health Care Center at 1:36 AM.
He was married to Ruth Wheeler July 12, 1943 at Indianapolis and she survives.
He was born November 6, 1920 at Russellville to Ernest and Geneva Wilson White.
He was a member of Russellville Community Church, a graduate of Greene Township High School in 1940, and was a farmer.
He served in U S Army in the European Theater 19 months.
Survivers include 2 sons Bruce (Kathie) White of Franklin, Larry (Karen) White of Indianapolis, 8 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild, a Brother Russell (Doris) White of New Market, 1 Niece and 1 Nephew.
He is preceded by his parents.
Services will be Saturday at 11:00 at Russellville Community Church calling at the church 4:00 to 8:00 Friday. Rev. James Elliott officiating with burial in Russellville Cemetery.
