Jacqueline Lakin, 70 of Roachdale passed away at Clarian West Hospital on Monday Evening, April 12, 2010. She was born on August 15, 1939 at Brownsburg to Alva and Mildred Myer Hopper.
She worked as a Packer at Anchor Glass in Indianapolis where she retired in 1975. She married James E. Lakin on August 17, 1971 at Indianapolis and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2008.
Survivors include her Companion Max Martin, 4 Step-sons Alan Lakin of Florida, Terry, Michael, Timothy Lakin all of Indianapolis, Sister Sandy Baxter of Arkansas a Half-brother Jerry Marshall of Arizona. She was preceded by her husband, grandson Tony Lakin, 2 step-sons Doug and James Lakin Jr., a sister Shirley Taylor, Brother William Smith.
Graveside Services are planned for Friday April 16, 2010 at 12:30 P.M. at Russellville Cemetery with Pastor J. Officiating. Visitation will be at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at 102 E. Washington St. Roachdale, IN on Friday from 10:00 to Noon. Burial will be at Russellville Cemetery.
