Carolyn Lee Reed
Carolyn Lee Reed, 77, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Devoted and Loving Wife of Dick Odle Reed for 59 years passed away April 23, 2010.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1932, the second daughter of Byron and Mary Kivett Plummer, sister of Marjorie Jean Plummer Davidson (Deceased), Charles Byron Plummer, and Mary Kathleen Plummer Woods.
She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. She married Dick Odle Reed at Clermont Christian Church in 1950 and he survives. Surviving children are Debra Ann White of Roachdale, Phillip Allen Reed and wife Phyllis of Dunnellen, FL, Paul Douglas Reed and wife Rebecca of Roachdale, 10 Grandchildren Jason Reed, Jeff Reed, Craig Reed and Wife Amanda, Shelby Reed, Acacia Reed, Michael White, Brandon White and wife Jan, Robyn White Perkins and Husband Bryan, Angela White, Matthew White and wife Amanda and 12 Great Grandchildren.
As she will be sadly missed, we as family know that she is in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we long for the day that we see her again in her glorified body.
Funeral Services will be Monday April 26, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Rev. Bob Muncie will officiate. Burial will be at Blakesburg Cemetery at Fincastle.
