Ruth Lindley Isaacs 91, if Rockville died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Union Hospital at Terre Haute
at 1: 35 PM. She was born August 20, 1918 at West Middleton, IN to Allen and Iva Mildred Talbert Lindley.
She married John H. Isaacs December 26, 1947 at Kokomo and he survives.
She served as Pastor at Tangier and Rush Creek Friends Church where she was a member. She was pastor for many funerals and weddings. She served as State President of Delta Kappa Gamma, Past President of Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association, member of Howard Township Home Economics Club.
She taught school for 40 years at Howard County, Tangier, and Waveland where she retired in 1980.
She graduated form West Middleton High School, Marion College and Indiana State University.
Other survivers are sisters Lois Leap of Converse, IN and Thelma Zartman of Rotonda , FL, a sister-in-law Lois Jean Lindley of Kokomo, IN.
She was preceded by her sons Allen & Carl, parents, brother Ralph and a sister Mary.
Services are at 1:00 PM Friday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland
