Roland Glen Cushman, 86, of Russellville passed away at Williamsburg Health Care at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday June 30, 2010.
He was born on May 8, 1924 to Forrest J. and Clara Segers Cushman at Creole Springs, IL.
He graduated in 1942 at Veedersburg High School. He was a member of the Russellville Community Church and Russellville American Legion and Booster Club. He owned and operated Standard Oil and R& M Oil in Russellville. He served in the US Army Air Force.
He married Mary Nixon on Sept 15, 1946 at Veedersburg and she preceded him in death. Survivors include a son Ken (Karen) Cushman at Russellville, a daughter Linda K. (Jay) Harrison of Danville, six Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his parents and 2 brothers Ralph & Albert Cushman.
The family has chosen Cremation and there will be no services. The family will receive visitors at the Russellville Community Church from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday July 3.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Russellville Community Church at P.O. Box 183, Russellville, IN 46175.
