Harold Dale Harpold 71, of Russellville died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette at 4:50 PM.
He was born November 17, 1938 at Mecca to Harold F. and Lenora M. Clodfelter Harpold.
He married Leah Sue Britton November 7, 1959 at Rockville and she survives.
He graduated from Mecca High School in 1956, was retired from R R Donnelley & Sons in 1991.
He is survive by a son Marty (Lori) Harpold of New Market, a daughter Vicki Myers of Crawfordsville, a grandson Jared Myers of Crawfordsville, sisters Mary Ruth Poppino of John Day, OR, Lorna Keeney of Terre Haute, Cathy Carithers of Mecca, a brother Ted Harpold of Rockville. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers.
Services will be at 7:00 PM Saturday Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland with Pastor Rodney Coffman officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Russellville Community Church at P O Box 183 Russellville, IN 46175 or at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
